Figurative Series

As humans, we look for familiarity within the abstract. This collection is inspired by my love of the coast and experimenting with natural, found objects. Within this artistic endeavour, I take pleasure in creating figurative portraits through the playful arrangement of objects. The textures of shells, with their unique and varied surfaces, become a source of inspiration, and the expressive possibilities of mark-making using a Biro pen add an extra layer of creativity to my process. This collection, born from my love of the sea and experimental curiosity, encapsulates a blend of familiarity and self-expression.
